20.11.2020 - The ORCA Group continues to grow: participation of the swiss Neida Bärtschi AG
With effect from 20.11.2020, the ORCA Group acquired a 50 % stake in the Neida Bärtschi AG in Biberist (Switzerland) as a joint venture. This was preceded by numerous confidence-building discussions with the main shareholders and the management of the swiss company.
The Neida Bärtschi AG is a customer-oriented company for high-precision turned parts and assemblies in the fields of medical technology, building technology and automation technology.
The close connection to the E25 and A5 highways and the nearby airport in Grenchen are major location advantages for the Neida Bärtschi AG.
Bernd Schaible, managing director of the ORCA Group in Villingen-Schwenningen, is pleased: "The entire search phase was exemplary. Many thanks to the main shareholders, the management and staff of the company Neida Bärtschi AG, as well as the municipal and cantonal administration: here we have always found open ears for the concerns of local industry." With regard to the connection of the Schwenningen industrial area to the B 523, which has been demanded for decades but was recently rejected by the Villingen-Schwenningen city council, he adds: "The current local politics of our twin city could certainly take the understanding of the Swiss for their industry as an example."
A broad portfolio of technically sophisticated precision parts is produced under one roof. Production focuses on medical technology, building technology and automation technology. The Neida Bärtschi AG thus ideally complements the competencies of the ORCA Group, which means many synergies in the future, especially in sales and in cooperation at production level.
The parts are made from a variety of raw materials, especially titanium and stainless steels in the narrowest tolerance ranges. We also have decades of expertise in downstream processes such as heat treatment, grinding and coating.
The Neida Bärtschi AG is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and is in preparation for certification according to ISO 13485:2016 for medical devices.

The employees have a high level of expertise in the technologies used and the subsequent processes, so that customized and ready-to-install solutions can be developed for each customer - efficiently, economically, on agreed deadlines and according to specifications with the tightest tolerances.
The company's own production is specialized in turned parts up to a diameter of 20 mm.
