The ORCA-group invests in the training of young people
For the ORCA-group, one of the most important investments in the future are well-educated young professionals. Education and training is the basis for us, now and in the future, to be able to grow and remain competitive as a manufacturing base in the global market. Therfore, at our various locations in VS-Schwenningen, we regularly train around 30 people in the following careers:
- Machinist (m/f/d)
- Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d)
- Industrial business/sales person (m/f/d)
- Machine and plant operator (m/f/d)
- Study Plus - Industrial Mechanic Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronic (m/f/d)
Together with our Training Manager and our experienced supervisors in the workplaces, we fully support the trainees in their carreers. We place great emphasis on teamwork and the development of personal responsibility. We always aim to provice an education that will lead to a solid, stable job with chances of continuing their professional development. The well-allocated, central training workshop serves not only as a training facility, especially at the beginning of training cours, as wll as for further training courses, but also as a meeting place for our trainees.
After successfully comleting Part 1 of the Final Examination, in their second year the industrial trainees should expect an intensive, comprehensive training in their chosen fields. For example, acutting-machine mechanic will intensively learn about a CNC-machine that willultimately lead to the completion of Part 2 of their Final Examination after approximately three and a half years. This involves the programming, set-up, operation and monitoring of the CNC-machines.
